This tag signifies that the tagged video is a PonyDub. Videos should only be classified as such if the original uploader identifies it as one. This can be in any form: be that in the title, description, tags, comment section, outside social media posts, etc. Videos that include My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic but do not call themselves PonyDubs should not be tagged as one.

A PonyDub is a term for musical remixes that sample the show My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. The term was primarily used by the creator RabiesBunx86 in an attempt to distance himself from the YTPMV community, who was scrutinous of his work. After the "I'm not a YTPMV'er." copypasta spread throughout the community, the term PonyDub began to be used in an ironic or mocking sense. (see Scary Monsters and Nice Parasprites)

Though usage of the term in a serious fashion has fallen out of favor in recent years, it is still occasionally used by creators to denote that their videos are not for people who doesn't like ponies.
