This tag signifies that a person who worked on the piece of media being sourced has acknowledged the tagged video in some manner. This could be in form of them commenting on it, posting about it on social media, adding to a playlist, etc.

In cases where the voice actor of a character or the vocalists for a song is sourced in a work and acknowledges it, the acknowledged by source tag should be used instead.
