'Gartic Phone collab' is a relay-style collaboration. The first participant creates an audio track and passes it on. The second participant then creates the visuals based solely on that audio. Next, the third participant creates a new audio track using only the previous participant's video. This alternating process repeats in a predetermined order.

Once the relay is complete, the very first participant's audio and the final participant's video are combined. The collab is considered a success if these two end products blend naturally into a cohesive final piece.

The name comes from the game Gartic Phone, which has similar rules of alternating between drawing the last prompt given and describing the last picture given.
