Link-addition edits may be slipping through review unnoticed

#1

First, I want to say that this is just speculation on my part. Since I don't know what the review page looks like for members with higher permissions, there may be a reason I'm simply not aware of.

When a new video is registered, it shows up with a blue border on the full listing page until it's approved. But when a link to another site is added to a video that's already approved, that edit needs approval too, and it doesn't show up as a blue border on the listing page, only on the individual video's page. If reviewers mainly go by the blue borders on the listing page to find what needs review, this kind of edit seems easy to miss, since it never shows up there.

About a week ago, I added a link to an already-registered video, but no one approved it, and it ended up expiring automatically. A similar pattern seems to be happening right now. I currently have 6 link addition edits still pending approval: 2 submitted two days ago, 3 submitted one day ago, and 1 submitted 22 hours ago. Meanwhile, every new video I've registered during that same period has already been approved.

I could be wrong about the reason. It might just be a coincidence, or the moderators might simply be busy. Is this genuinely a case that's easy to overlook during review, or is there some other reason this type of edit takes longer?

t147.1: Now this is just my experience, but admittedly I forget about the pending upload (link-addition) queue. Usually I focus more on the pending work (new entry) queue since I notice that list tends to be longer. Since you bring it up, I plan to go through the pending upload queue today.
