Description | Well well well, we've come full circle!
I'm going to start out by thanking everyone, without any of you guys watching I wouldn't have the drive to make the content I do. I couldn't be anymore grateful for all your kind words over the years and the support, and to watch this channel grow has been such an experience and a journey! I didn't think I'd be still making these videos for this amount of time but here we are, still opening up Vegas and dropping chiptune tracks in the timeline with random sources.
Let's talk about the vid, and the one I made a decade ago. Originally back in 2015 I planned to finish this properly but I got as far as doing the bass, leads and arps and because of my ability of making videos at the time I didn't want to persue it any further. I did have a plan to make a 5 year version but I completely forgot about it... whoops. Last year around this time, I started working on the arrangement for this video, and let it sit for a little while. In May of this year was when I started to cover the arrangement itself and got the audio finished in a few days, and since then I have been working on and off on the visuals! Which leaves us here today with this.
This is a love letter to you all, the video I made 10 years ago and to my past self from 10 years ago too, if I could go back and tell myself that I would improve myself in many aspects I would because I know my younger self wouldn't believe in me.
I actually had a lot of fun making this too! I actually used a lot of the original samples from back then and I revisited the old project file (i actually organised the tracks and grouped the visuals audio separately). The whole process from start to finish was fun and seeing the video rendered was a great feeling too, I've been viewing it in "Draft (Auto)" through the preview window this entire time lmao.
I'm not going to pretend I know what the future of this channel is going to be like from here onwards, you might see another remake in 10 years time, you might see nothing. I wish I could tell you but I can't, best thing I can offer you all now is to stick around and see if anything comes!
With all that out of the way, here's my more than "Alright-ish" Jontron video with more than "meh" visuals and audio!
And as always:
