When I first joined the community, new high quality BME videos from several western authors were fairly common, but now it feels like the source is beginning to die out, leaving creators like myself and @epiclips0 (who did the vocals for this video) to pick up the pieces and rebuild BME in the west. My song choice, Static by Flavor Foley, was meant to reflect this, as the song revolves around Hatsune Miku's internal crisis as she loses popularity and people begin to drift away. In a sense, this video is meant as a call to action for those interested in using the source, urging them to look back at how things used to be, and think... "This is how it should be."
